RI Charter Boat Ports of CallOur captains fish Narragansett Bay, Block Island, Point Judith, and the RI south shore.Either trailering or located at a local marina, any one of our five captains can show you a great time on the water. Close to the the fishing port of Galilee and Point Judith. In this section we'll go over the locations where the charter boats of these featured captains can be found. If you want to read about the charter services they offer, click here.
Jim's Dock. Captain Chris, Earl, and Walter all have their boats located at
Jim's Dock all season, Captain Greg moves there in October. It's a marina and restaurant in Jerusalem, RI which is 5 minutes
by boat from Galilee, but 20 minutes by car. If driving from the
north, it takes no more time to reach Jim's Dock then it does to go to
Galilee. If you are coming from the south, Jim's Dock is 20
minutes closer than Galilee. There are some lobster boats at the dock
too, if someone wants to save time and come to Jim's to get fresh
lobsters instead of going all the way around to Galilee. There is
also less traffic during the day. Its off the same exit as East Matunuck State Beach. Other Charter boats. There are various charter boats sprinkled in small numbers in the upper and lower Bay. Most of these are boats around 20-25 feet long, though there are some larger ones, too. Port of Galilee. There are no charter boats at Point Judith proper, there is actually a fleet located in Galilee. Many Rhode Islanders think of them as being at Point Judith but that simply isn't the case. They are mostly on Galilee Dock B.
